Spring Break

Whether you are a college student literally counting off the days in your agenda until spring break, or a working girl that is thinking about beach vacations due to this week's unusually warm weather, I think we all know that bathing suit season is fast approaching (and may already be here for some of you). My spring break is less than a month away, which has me scrambling for the nearest gym or workout video and some sun to mask the pale ghost-like appearance that has become my legs. On the top of everyones list of things to pack for a sunshine-filled vacation is obviously a bathing suit and cover-up. With my spring break approaching quickly, I am consumed with what I need to pack for my fun beach vacation. (Yes, I know I live in Florida and its sunny here a lot, but hey, everyone looks forward to the beach no matter where you're from!) Here is what I'm going to need to soak up those rays:

Most girls I know make Victoria's Secret their first stop for bathing suit shopping, whether online or in stores. I'm loving this nautical bikini, and at $34 for the top and $20 for the bottoms, it is definitely a steal. (Hellooo, more money for fruity drinks on the beach!)

This cover-up will take you straight from the beach to a late lunch/early dinner with no need to stop and change. Did I mention it's only $24.50?

A wide-brim floppy hat is a must-have for a beach vacation. This one is $29.99.

I love this classic tote to use as a beach bag, and there are plenty of colors to choose from! This bag is $39.50.

Finally, you need some sandals. I love that these are easy to slip on & off (a necessity when you're at the beach) and have fun detailing. These are $39.

Did y'all notice a trend here? Everything I found was under $40. The point to spring break - or any vacation, really - is to spend as little beforehand so you can have as much fun once you get there & not have to worry about the money. And when planning a beach vacation, don't forget the essentials: always (I mean ALWAYS) put on sunblock, bring a towel & good book, and arrive ready for a great time!
